Certificate of Volunteerism

All the accumulated volunteer hours of CU currently need to be reported through the VITA APP, so to become a volunteer, you need to become a VITA member through the VITA APP.

Volunteers can also apply for the PVSA Presidential Volunteer Award, and receive four different levels of awards: bronze, silver, gold, and presidential, based on the number of volunteer service hours. Winners will receive a certificate, medal, and prize, as well as a sense of honor and pride, and can also gain additional advantages in job hunting, applying for college, and running for public office.

Ordinary volunteers: VITA members can accumulate volunteer hours by participating in charitable activities organized by the Chinese Union, and obtain a volunteer certificate issued by the Chinese Union as a non-profit public welfare organization (Non-profit Organizition, 501-c-3) registered with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
